Surely there is a better deal out there than that. Nylander is looking for $10 million a season. So they got to trade him. But don’t trade a forward for a defenseman. Straight up forward for forward. Don’t trade apples for oranges
Anything is possible!! I want Darnel Nurse or Drew Doughty. I know Nurse is a stretch but
Doughty had a great year last season. Make a deal with the Kings. Or Karlsson. Other than
that i would trade for another forward but I don’t know who yet

I’m not against signing Nylander. But I don’t want to see a trade of 2 or 3 lesser value players for him. Straight up 1 for 1 trade of equal value. Nylander is still a high end player
Man oh man. I hate the way leaf’s do things!! We never needed Tavares and because the leafs keep there captains for life we loose a better player in Nylander. Get rid of John put the c on Matthew’s and keep building around Austin William Mitch and Morgan!! Also get rid of Murray and get some team to take muzzin’s contract!!! I know Willy only shows up 75% of the time but I’d much rather pay him than Tavares in my opinion!!!
Leafs can do better than that. Hanifin does not want to be in Canada and would just leave when he is a free agent. If there was also a 1st round pick, it would be a better trade with some different players.
