Nick is overlooking the toughness added to the 3rd line. Blake has already answered his concern with PLD who is a bit different then what Kings fans are accustomed to.
Just because the 4rth line hasn't got a knuckle dragger doesn't mean there is not some added toughness yet.
PLD is tougher, and will skate more minutes than any 4rth line goon the Kings could add…

I don't agree at all with u I definitely believe we got pushed around by the oilers greatly and if the kings had of got past Edmonton the vegas knights would have pushed the kings around for sure as well and look at when the kings played Vancouver the last part of the season when kempe fought tj Miller he was in kempe face the whole frigging game and not one player done a thing I bet u one former king that would have done something would have bin durzi but he was out because of the dirty hit he took in a Winnipeg game wich once again no one did a thing ,nothing, zilch, nada,the kings r a soft team and r a bunch of pussies now and I love the kings bin a fan for 30+ years but that's what I c the team being right now and I can't c how u don't c that but I guess u may probably look at hockey different then me wich is OK but that's just my opinion Eddie there really soft like marshmallow but way to go to kempe for standing up for himself and the kings r lucky that he didn't get hurt or break a hand booo kings booo
Teams with players who DO NOT stand up for each other when the time comes (Andersson boarded by McDavid as one example) are NOT going to go far in the playoffs, and the last two Kings playoff teams are prime examples.
When a player or players get run over with no response, it's deflating to momentum, to the team and to the fans that the team feeds off of.
The Kings are a soft team with a soft captain. He's a great two way player, I own his jerseys, but he's Charmin soft, as is most of his supporting cast.
One Lemieux, MacEwen, or Englund isn't gonna change that, and certainly not PLD.
Super excited about the addition of PLD and I know he is a center but could u see him possibly at any point this upcoming season playing on the top line with kopi and kempe as a winger? Not sure if he has ever played any other position just think that line combo would be dangerous
We didn’t lose to Edmonton because they were bullying us we lost because they had more team speed than us which we couldn’t contain for a full 7 game series and then the obvious they had McDavid and draisaitl who are two of the best goal scorers and players period in the league and their power-play was basically unstoppable!
Also, let’s not forget the enormous 3–0 lead we choked away in game 4 which if that doesn’t happen we win that series because as good as the Oilers were I don’t think they would’ve came back to win 3 straight games
