That’s one decision I will never get over from last season. I don’t care what you think of your top players or how often you have butted heads with them, you don’t put Nick fucking Ritchie out in a do or die shootout.
But but…..he had scored already against that team this year
That move was basically the icing on the cake on why Sutter had to go
It’s easy to shit on Ritchie but Kadri and Backlund were equally bad choices
It was nice of Sutter to basically put in his resignation with that move
