  1. Philly should trade Couturier to a contender since hes going to have a shorten career. At this point hes injury prone for what the Flyers need him to be. Its cruel but true.

  2. teams having cap space can get so much more from desperate teams wanting to add or substract a player. either a great player for less, or more prospects/picks than ot originaly would. brillant strategy from Tortz.

  3. I’m thinking we see a Washington Nashvillle trade with Mantha. I know Kuznetsov was indicated earlier in the off-season, but my money is on a Mantha trade

  4. don't forget the other draft pick from the Flames in the same draft year. Markus Granlund.

  5. Barry Trotz is a very smary guy and even when he was named the Preds first coach, they did not win a lot of games, but they were rarely blown-out of any games and the guys worked hard.

  6. That's good news for the Flyers. I hope both can be impactful although I wouldn't be surprised if they try to move both if that happens.

  7. Poor Baertschi was a capable middle 6 goal scorer who's career was rekt by the treaded post conclusion syndrome.

  8. Its a smart move but I really do think you need to give the players time to settle into their roles and learn their line mates passing and playmaking habits so you can anticipate their moves. A familiar fit into a role equals better goal opportunities. Look at McDavid and Draisaitl on the powerplay…they seem to stay dangerous while moving all over the ice and rarely miss each others passes and tip in chances.

  9. Coots was cleared to return before the end of last season. They just didn't want to rush him back. Also Ellis is the LTIR. Coots and Cam were never on LTIR.

  10. I thought they said Couts was ready at the end of last season but they held him back from playing because there was no point risking re-injury? Either way, I'm happy he's healthy and ready to go. #GoFlyersGo šŸ’Ŗ

  11. Atkinson has been one of the best players in the summer league. He looks good to go. Hopefully he has a healthy training camp and a great year. I'll be rooting for him to come back strong
