    The fact that Tampa identified who works for them within the cap and made it happen solidifies just how good that team is off/on ice. Shrewd moves from an A class org who could go 3 in 3 is amazing.
    Chevy better be taking notes.

    I think both teams win this trade looking at what their needs are right now. Tampa gets a player who is good right now to push for a 3-peat and Chicago gets pieces to build for the future. Can't wait to see Hagel in action with the Bolts and wishing Raddysh and Katchouk great luck with the Hawks.

    Wish Raddysh and Katchouk the best in Chicago. Brandon, WELCOME TO THE LIGHTNING! One thing that Bolts fans have learned, is to trust JBB. Sure my first response was “holy s%$#” but then I take a few minutes to digest. The two 1st ‘s will be late selections and the two 4th’s will probably be early selections. Add to that the Lightning had to pay a premium for Hagel’s contract, he is not a rental. 1.5 for 2 more seasons before becoming a RFA is GREAT! One thing that immediately popped in my mind was JBB is already thinking ahead to a Bolts team without Palat next year. And my comment about Palat is nothing negative against him, Pally has earned the right to get PAID in the off-season. Anyway, big trade for the Bolts. April Fools will now be a date circled on my calendar, expect Raddysh and Katchouk to receive a nice tribute from the fans in Tampa. GO BOLTS!

    Tampa Bay could win their 4th Stanley Cup, their 3rd in a row. There could be a rematch between the flames vs lightning in the final. The Flames better win the cup because there going to lose some big name players towards free agency and must pay Matthew Tkachuk either 10-11 million. Funny thing is the Flames have 6 Swedes on the roster.

    appreciate the honesty analysis, I was thinking we (tampa bay) may have given up with raddy and Bo but in reality they were sent out to make the money work, we basically got hagel for two firsts and then got two fourths back from chicago when we had to dump both raddy and bo. i love what this does but I want to see if he can get to 30 goals especially being on the 2nd powerplay unit but he helps joesph and Colton take a step closer to being more like our original 3rd line from a couple seasons ago with his forechecking and he adds play making. great move by jbb, also why hasn’t he won the award for best gm yet?

    As a hawks fan I hate this trade, why would they get rid of one of their best players especially when he’s young and a great contract for 3 years. Bad move from the gm.
