Okay, but could we finish 32nd?
If we’re not in playoff contention, might as well plummet and get Michkov some additional fire power to play with.
Unfortunately for the rebuild but I just don’t see how this team got any worse, in fact I’d argue it’s gotten better.
Depending on health our forward lines are better with adding Couturier and Atkinson and only losing JVR(meh) and Hayes(bigger loss, but a healthy Couturier is a much better player).
Losing Provy is going to hurt, but I mean he’s been struggling (or just not caring) the last couple seasons.
I’m not saying we are a good team but I don’t see how this team is bad enough to finish with a clear opportunity to pick first or second.

Hope it’s lower than that. If Hart is suspended, as people are thinking right now, I think they have a better chance of finishing lower than 26th. Otherwise, this team is going to win way too many games.
