I’m so embarrassed as a Seattleite to see this is why the Kraken are making headlines. Imagine having a meltdown because people asked you to stop making creepy remarks.

It’s all bizarre. If I were them, I would not be online at all. You can’t stop the degenerates on here, as sad as it may be.

It’s sad and creepy because cults aren’t the Manson family types and Moon weddings that we knew in the past but are today centered around social media, influencer cults are real. Don’t want them near hockey.

And I’m now learning that’s what someone who is from Seattle is called.

It’s so weird. Australia’s hockey league actually had a mini explosion because of a romance novel about a hockey player became a best seller in that country. The people buying tickets to their league (outside their original fanbase) were almost exclusively women.

Played briefly in the WHL and it’s not exactly a secret to guys that some groups of women have a fetish for hockey players. There are groupies at most games and there is generally an unwritten rule that you’re not supposed to date them.

Some of the guys has the weirdest and most provocative DM’s from random gals you can ever see. Most guys don’t talk about it because they either secretly like the attention of they feel that in a hyper masculine environment, that it would make them look bad to complain.

Girls can be absolute creeps just as much as guys.
Let’s move on so we don’t give that girl a bunch of extra attention eh?
Summers are boring haha.

His family has every right to not want to be objectified en masse. It doesn’t have to be more complicated than that.

I know it’s summer but OP should be ashamed of themselves for posting this.

His wife is 100% correct; if the roles were reversed, and this was a male fan openly talking about triple teaming an attractive female athlete, I have a feeling the reception of said comments would be a bit contrasting.
