The Gus Bus will keep a rolling! I expected a two year deal, kind of surprised but not utterly shocked… If they would have negotiated with Sundqvist, I think the Wild could have done serious contention with the roster…even if they trade Foligno…
This is the best news from the wild as of late. They need a goaltender that is solidly backed by the front office. To many in the past have just been dealt away and we never got anything better in return. Paying big money for a goalie's past mean his days are over. Showing Filip loyalty will give him the edge the Wild need.

With the possibility of the cap going up in maybe 2 years I think you use these 2 seasons to develop and play your young players. We have like $1 million in cap only left so if someone gets hurt use the farm system. I’m so excited for our team in a few years. This year, my guess is a fringe playoff team, 88-93 points
