now before anyone freaks out about the team offer, this is just how these things go. team lowballs player, player asks for too much; they’ll settle in the middle.
C’mon, get this done outside arb so it can be longer term.
It’s funny, I thought the most stressful part of the offseason would be the Carlsson/Fantilli decision but I am starting to get real stressed about signing some of our other boys now. Hopefully we get this sorted and everyone can stay happy.
Man, I think this is a mistake. Terry is phenomenal right now. Playing the best hockey of his career. This is a perfect time to lock him up longterm. Hopefully they can do they before the hearing.
Terry will get between 6.7 and 6.9, dont see him getting to or above $7M. Good team contract but can see why this is probably going to arb
