Boston Bruins Trying To SHOCK The NHL…

Kirk Day and Noah Byrne discuss reports of the Boston Bruins searching for a number-one center after the retirement of Patrice Bergeron. Star centers Trevor Zegras and Mason McTavish of the Anaheim Ducks have been two players linked to the Bruins in their search. Trevor Zegras being the favorite of the two, is currently an RFA meaning he can be offer sheeted by the Boston Bruins. However, if these speculations come to fruition they may try to trade for his RFA rights to have him under control instead of having the risk of the Anaheim Ducks matching the offer sheet. The Anaheim Ducks currently have three restricted free agents Troy Terry, Mason McTavish, and of course, Trevor Zegras. Having 27 million in cap space allows for the Ducks to be able to resign all of these RFAs, but they may choose to trade a forward due to their deep center depth.
