Ovechkin is the greatest goal scorer of all time better at scoring goals than gretzky. Ovi is probably the greatest winger in hockey history.
Ovechkin is a winger that is pure goal scoring offense. Not a lot of assists/ playmaking.
Crosby plays center which is a position thats harder to play and requires better defense. Crosby is the far more complete player he can do everything!

Most players get a fake tooth but don’t typically wear it while playing and get permanent replacements after their career is over.
They take their fake teeth out before games. No point is breaking the same tooth twice
Both are great players. On their whole careers, Crosby has more points in way less games
Ovetchkin is only 73 goals away from breaking Wayne Gretsky’s goal record. Wayne retired in 1999. On retirement he held 61 unbroken records. As of today he still holds ( and shares a few ) 58 records. There are many of those records they say will never be broken. For instance his record of assists was 1,963. Sidney currently has 952 assists and would run out of time before even hoping to catch up. It doesn’t make sense to wear your false teeth during a game as there is a good chance those will get broken as well. Don’t forget teeth are not lost only through fighting in hockey……puck to the mouth, stick to the mouth, face plant on the ice, boards etc, accidental ( or on purpose ) elbow to the mouth.
Ovi is going to be the best goal scorer of all time. But Wayne Gretzky is miles ahead of anyone else in terms of goat status. Like it’s not even close whatsoever
