  1. Bergeron didn’t wait until he was a 3rd liner. The guy is still an elite defensive player good for 50-60 points. Good for him. He’s virtually impossible to replace, and I think Krejci is gone too, so that makes things more complicated for Boston, but all good things must come to an end. I’m way over 2011. He was one of the guys I didn’t hate on that team anyway. Well deserved.

  2. Shannon
Here is I think a good question!
No, you can't replace Bergeron but….
Do the Bruins and isles become good for each other!? Idk what else may be included, but could the isles trade Pageau to the Bruins for Debrusk and would that be beneficial for both clubs!?
For the isles, idk that it is cause even if Debrusk chose to stay on the island, what are the isles gaining by subtracting Pageau? And imo, Pageau is alot more to the isles than the numbers he puts up, especially on special teams… Your thoughts?

  3. Bergeron VERY CLASSY leaves it all on the ice!
Arizona- I think the problem is the fans? FIGHTING THE FANS to stay in Arizona!

  4. Wait Coyotes want to move back to Phoenix? Didnt the City of Phoenix sue them and spend millions of dollars against their campaign for a new arena?

  5. I am happy that we signed cooley.
    This will improve our team.
But i also want them to sign mcbain asap and give him more ice time. He looks like the player this team needs. So lets keep him and give him every opportunity to improve.

  6. some guys are able to continue and feel good but their production fall out and play 3rd line, Bergeron is not one of those guys, he played tough minutes every shift of his career while carving a hall of famer career. Sad to see him retire but by all means does he deserve it after a hell of a career

  7. On Sillinger having a poor season… Pretty much everyone on the Jackets had a poor season. As one of the youngest players on a terrible team, you're gonna have a very hard time having a good season. I wouldn't be worried about him.

  8. Let’s go Coyotes!!! Forward group is really starting to round out. The young defense needs to develop and the team could probably use another veteran addition through trade or free agency. Both goalies need to play with more consistency as well. The future is finally looking bright, just need that arena announcement!!!

  9. Cooley got the same contract as Bedard. That's why he signed. He was the 3rd overall pick in 2022.

  10. I would think that for the NHL the money from expansion with a few more teams have higher priority than a 84 game schedule. Then again, two more games per season should also bring more money, shouldn't it?

  11. Ofc players like to go Arizona, there are many players that have made a new hype around them there. Nobody wanted ghost before he went there and now he is little bit hot again. Its place you can show your talent for better places

  12. I will be watching more Arizona games for sure….a kid that wnats to play! Kudos to you kid, I like the guys who are chomping at the bit to play and make some bank. Very cool…. we'll be watching

  13. It’s my god given right to hate the Bruins but I can’t hate Patrice Bergeron. Big time pro move when he tapped up Tage Thompson before opening face off and asked how his wife was doing with her cancer treatment. He gave a damn, and I absolutely respect that.

  14. This new coyotes team will keep the team in AZ!!! Maybe even bring the cup to the desert like Vegas has!!

  15. congratulations on a great career for Bergeron! Cole has what it takes give him more time the team around him is young or injured .go jackets and go Hockey Guy

  16. In his second season, Sillinger was still the second youngest guy to play more than a handful of games last year. Anyone who says he's a bust is a fool.

  17. Sillinger is playing in an interesting summer league right now. It's a 4-on-4 league with players from at least 6 NHL teams from what I could see (SJS, OTT, NYR, PHI, CBJ, and NSH) and I think they're still adding. I know they just got Laine, Werenski, and Bernard-Docker to join.

  18. If any it's the players that should ask for more than 50%. They are the elite talent. 90% would be more reasonable.

  19. Truthfully, though the organization might seem in shambles, coyotes seem like they're on the upswing. And, like the sens and Buffalo, they're overdue to see some success. I'm with it. Also, I'd love to go to a playoff game in that little college rink. Could you imagine?

  20. I'm starting to think we won't see an 84-game season until the next CBA. I remember when you said it would add roughly a week to the schedules – I'm sure the NHLPA is aware of this, and has opinions on it, too.

  21. Bye bye Bergeron.
Happy to see him walk away. Herniated disks are not fun. He won't be back. Great career. Made it to the Cup, won the Cup, awards and kudos from every level of hockey, as slam dunk a HoF as it gets these days.
As to replacing him, Shannon, you are 100% on the mark. Players of this calibre do not get replaced. Ask Detroit how they are coming looking for another Gordie Howe.

  22. Tough way for Bergeron to end his marvelous career. Patrice kicked the biscuit right to Montour on the tying goal in Game 7 and then got lost behind the Bruins net when his man ( Verhaeghe ) scored the Series winner.
