My grandfather turned 80 last weekend and I wanted to do something special for him. Hes a big sports guy and loves basketball, golf, football, etc. but he’s never been to a professional hockey game! He grew up a half hour outside of Philly in Camden, NJ but is a big sixers fan so I decided the flyers were a better choice than the devils.
Anyway he loved the gift so much and I’m so happy. I’m thinking about getting him a Clarke or lindros jersey so he’s dressed properly for the game. Wanted to share this here as I thought you guys might appreciate it and there’s not much happening in these subs during the offseason.
P.S. take good care of staalsy pls 🙂

How cool would it be if you just kept pumping that date on this sub and it just became the unofficial Jim Smith Night (or whatever your Grandpa’s name is) and everyone attending knew it was his 80th Celebration. That would be epic.
