Jonathan Huberdeau’s record setting season

Jonathan Huberdeau set an unfortunate record during his first season with the Calgary Flames after being acquired in exchange for Matthew Tkachuk. Huberdeau’s 60-point decline set a new NHL record for the largest drop in points from one season to the next.

  1. Huberdeau benefited from a run and gun style offense that the panthers played. I watched every panthers game last year. Similar to Anson Carter and the Sedins, playing with Barkov is going to get you a lot of points. Unsustainable numbers.

  2. Did any of the Drop off plaayers bounce back and return to top form, or were they over after that?
