  1. Looked vicious but in reality Salo didn't have a mark on him. A bunch of punches into his equipment.

  2. Dan da man damage done.. Then Jeff Beukeboom ready to do more damage.. I remember that game well…

  3. This is old time hockey. Its chippy, and guys seem to be more involved punching each other in the nose than they are trying to score goals

  4. What a piece of s.it Rangers goalie!!! Guys with mental issue on medication should be under supervision for protection of other players. He obviously skipped his medicine interval! Salo should used his stick to test how many times he can smashes over his head before it breaks!!

  5. I called Cloutier “Knuckles” for the rest of his career.

One of the few fights I actually enjoyed.

  6. Cloutier is a G for challenging the entire bench by himself. He would’ve gotten his ass beat no doubt but that dude didn’t fucking care. Respect 😂

  7. If Cloutier played as well as he could fight, then he would have had a whole lot better career than he ended up having in the NHL 😂.

  8. Best part was when the toughest guy on earth came out of no where and destroyed the islanders goalie and challenged the islanders bench. Simply legendary

  9. Poor Tommy just trying to stop his guy from getting clobbered 🙁 you can see him yelling at the refs. Then he ends up getting smashed and no one steps into help. Fucking disgrace 😂

  10. That would of been great to see that numbnuts goalie get his sense knocked into or out of his dumb behind that idiot

  11. They never explained why this happened. Milbury called a timeout up 3-1 in I think the final game. But this game eliminated the rangers from the playoffs.

  12. I went to high school with Dan Cloutier, he played Jr B here (St Thomas Stars) for 1 year before he was drafted by the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds of the OHL in 1992

  13. Cloutier was a bitch. Taking free shots at a prone and still padded while he was able to slip out of his jersey and pads. The only reason he challenged the Isles bench is because he knew no one was risking a suspension by accommodating him. No way he would have tried this back in the days of bench clearers. You'd be referring to him in the past tense. Muckler was a bush league piece of shit for sic'ing his 4th line on the Isles top line. Typical Rangers.

  14. Fun Fact! This brawl is the only reason I know who Dan Cloutier is. I remember seeing the clip of him challenging the Islanders bench in a "Top 10 NHL Rivalries" video.

  15. Those little twerps should be thanking their lucky stars it wasn’t the Avs or Red Wings he was playing against. And I hate the Red Wings. Little Cloutier would’ve been beatin like a drum by Osgood or Vernon. He would’ve been absolutely destroyed by Roy.
