Miller is from Pittsburgh. The organization would be doing him a favor if they traded him there.

This trade doesn't make any sense….Once again… Making the same old mistakes….I wonder how long will it take for the Canucks management to realize the mistake for accepting this trade in the first place…. Acquiring draft picks and building for the future is what this team needs to do….The Oilers has to go down that road and look at them now…..Going through a proper rebuild and drafting the right players is what this team needs….I didn't mind the last two trades before this one…This one doesn't makes sense at all for the long run…. Detroit won this trade that's for sure…We should be following on what Detroit is doing right now… It's not rocket science….Too bad we can't trade management and owners…🤡🙃

JT Miller is from East Palestine Ohio, just outside of Pittsburgh. Played minor hockey in Pittsburgh. Just doesn’t make sense because of JT’s contract, otherwise it would have.
I don't care what you say re tooling or rebuilding. That trade is absolutely horrendous. After seeing what Ottawa gave up for Chychrun it hurts. I don't understand.

Hronek, Raty, Beauvilier and a 4th for Horvat and 2nd is a pretty good return. Although they are gambling on next year being a lot different which is not the best course of action imo. I wish Hronek had an extra year or two on his deal, but I guess if they aren't in contention next year, they can flip him, Beauvilier and maybe even Pettersson at next year's deadline, since I honestly don't see him resigning, plus I think he deserves a lot better if things don't change QUICK. More importantly, Myers, Boeser and OEL g2g asap, they just don't fit with this team. I know Miller gets a lot of criticism, but I think he's a gamer come playoff time. Although if we could trade him to the Jackets now that would be amazing. Imagine if management was creative and got Sillinger, Vorachek (buyout), Jiricek/Boqvuist for Miller, Boeser (who could then be flipped to 3rd team like Pens)… I just don't think they have the courage for a move like that, plus Aquilini is a stooge so God help us all. Just trade Myers ASAP since OEL is impossible to move.
