Played serious hockey growing up and as far as I know clean hits were always allowed. All's it is is just more stoppages in play to add to the "coaches challenge' and to make the sport just a little more boring.Grow up!

This is not pond hockey boys, this is the greatest league in the world. You’re turning our game into pond hockey. This is the reason no one wants to watch the all star game.
