  1. People saying he should have come out and grabbed it, for one, its pretty hard in that gear to all of sudden go from being in your stance to try to skate out and get in position just right to catch the puck, two, normally on this play the puck hits the ice, hits his stick which he then pushes off to his defenseman Anderson, and three, there is a rule in the NHL that a goalie can't cover the puck if he his legs can not reach the crease. If he comes out and catches that puck, its a delay of game penalty because he is too far out to glove that puck and hold onto it.

  2. Seriously I am amazed Quick didn't throw himself to the ground. Usually that is his go to. Throw yourself to the ground to make the refs think their was goaltender interference. I mean yeah there is not Vegas player near him, but I'm sure he contemplated trying it. Diving hasn't stopped him before.

  3. I can already hear Steve dangle. “ IF YOUR ARE A GOALE TEND THE GOAL”. That was a weird bounce on quick. Those things jappen

  4. I hope. Quick can get back in his all star form he has been playing horrible lately

  5. There was a defenseman on the 1950’s – 1960’s Montreal Canadiens who scored this way dozens of times. His name is JC Trembley . He would bounce it six to eight feet in front of the goalie, usually rushing up from his right defense position. It was great.

  6. yeah it's a bad bounce but if you're an NHL goalie shouldn't you be prepared for that? yet it seems to happen to even the best of them so I suppose it's just gonna happen
