I can't believe that is going to be playing for the Buffalo Sabres in the 2020-2021 season starting late 2020! I can't wait to see Eric Staal in a Royal Blue Buffalo Sabres jersey next season! A good trade for Buffalo!

I'm surprised Staal didn't have Buffalo on his team to go to list considering, Ralph Kreuger who was like a scout for Carolina in 05-06 I think. Kevyn Adam's who was his teammate then, and had played with Skinner for 5 to 6 years. Hmmm but this upgrades the top 6.

I personally have met Marcus when he played for the caps cuz my dad played golf a few times with him. I was sad to see him leave us and ever since he has just been on the move a ton so I hope he can find a place to stay and potentially get a cup.

Erik Staal is a perfect fit for him in a wild and he will get his first Stanley cup before his brothers get it he is a beast of his moves and he is a beast to the whole league but he is so slow to get the puck and he will not even to take a shot in net and he can’t skate he likes to be unable to do anything on the ice now he can skate fast and keep up with his line he can do it his skill is perfect and talented he can move and shoot the puck in net I think staal is a perfect guy and he will help his team be stronger to show all of his coaches staff how do handle the puck up the ice.
I don't see it as a huge loss for the Wild. If Guerin knows the Wild aren't likely to be competitive next year, I don't know what the best offer is for Staal. There was a rumor that Fenton almost pulled the trigger to trade Staal for Kuraly and Boston's late first round pick. That was 18 months ago. What's fair value? Also, Staal had a 10 team no trade clause, so only negotiating with 2/3 of the league.
Marcus he is the best shooter in this league more then staal has more to offer Marcus has been in this position all of these years no one ever pass him he has more shots and more hits and more fights than stall ever played I’m happy for him went to Minnesota he deserve it so as Staal in Buffalo skinner is next to go and Dumba

Not sure Skinner is a bad contract, just a bad season. He is still a 40/40 guy. The Okposo deal is poison.
I’m a wild fan, Eric stall is old and slow, he really started to show signs of his age and it was evident just how slow he was in the playoffs, Johansson is a faster player and I believe has more upside in his career at this point, we weren’t going to win with Eric stall, we need a NO.1 center that we’re trying to get for dumba.
