  1. I hope he comes back a little bigger after the offseason and has focused on mentally whatever he did in the last offseason.

Very skilled and very good in the season. Now he need to get tougher and less scared in the playoffs when it’s getting more physical.

Hoping he performs well all year. When he is, it’s fun to watch.

Consistency comes with age and keeping him is a good gamble. Men are physically developing until age 21/22 and skaters peak at 25-30. Giving leniency on inconsistency at a young age is worth it to develop strong players. I’m hoping he’s hitting his consistent start of 4-5 peak seasons 🤞.

I want to see Necas succeed here, but he needs to get tougher. Fantastic regular season player but in the postseason he just gets abused: he’s constantly losing puck battles, creating turnovers off panicked and poor decisions, and worst of all losing confidence in his shot when he’s getting pushed around physically.

I truly believe he’s got the talent to be a 90-100 point guy, but he gets in his own head way too often and puts himself into these slumps where he’ll put up like 5 points in 20 games after being comfortably at or above a PPG for the rest of the season. The inconsistency kills me, but Necas is still a young player and has room to grow. If he can add even 15 pounds of muscle this offseason, I think we will see a significantly different player next year.
