To clarify Backlund's Comments which were made to a European News Outlet, He said he wasn't going to re-sign before the season but might consider it if the season goes well which to me basically sounds like he isn't coming back but that's my opinion

So, Galchenyuk Enters Player Assistance program, eh? Well, it's a good first step towards resolving his issues off-ice, and the apologies were absolutely necessary to restore any degree of character–unfortunately, I believe his NHL playing days are over, but, he could still play overseas once he gets treatment,, Regarding EK to the Penquins, he would be a boost to a team looking to make one more playoff run with Sid & Co . We'll see if and /or when that happens. Vlad Tarasenko will get a deal soon—-all we know right now is he won't playing for the NYR or STL Blues. Thanks for another awesome report.
Karlson to Pittsburgh, might be held up, as they are trying to work things out with a third team. Both teams need cap space. Chicago or Anaheim could really try to make a big haul on draft picks. To let these teams use their cap space, to complete the trade.

Thats likely the only reason Skarek resigned with islanders,a 2 way contract! He wants to play in nhl if not then probably europe!
Tarasanko hasnt been offered the money he wants!
Islanders have a better chance of getting Debrusk then they do Tarasanko!
Trading Pageau is not what they wanna do, but a $5 mil a year they would have to in order to fit someone!
The question with islanders forwards is wahlstrom not palms!

Isles are wothout injury adding a full season of Barzal Horvat and Wahlstrom! That said it should bring added goals!

Im glad Alex is getting help. I know first hand what substance abuse can do ive also had my share of run ins with the law when i was younger. Its a struggle every single day climbing out of that rut. No one should judge another for having demonds if they haven't been through it themselves. Im proud of Alex for admitting he has a problem and needs professional help. Im praying he gets better and maybe someday gets his career back, but first he must get his life back. Take as long as you need Alex and get better.
Tarasenko to LA Kings or Anaheim Ducks?
The flames have Huberdeau and Kadri to build around and Backlund best years are definitely behind him and the flames farm team have a bunch of great prospects that Sutter would never give a chance so Im pumped to see what the line up is going to look liks by the end of the season
Big W on NHL for Alec to step directly into PAP. Of all the issues Arizona has had in the past I'm not sure I would have even terminated the contract lol. But regardless good bless chuckers
