I want to just add that Ottawa traded Brassard to Pittsburgh for a 1st round pick in the 2018 draft. We then traded up giving up picks 26 and 48 to move up to pick 22 that Ottawa had from the brassard trade where we drafted K’Andre Miller. Pleasure doing business

Even though people clown on the sens for it, Brassard at the time was better than young Zbad and they came insanely close to making the cup that year while the rangers were about to rebuild.
Sometimes you gotta make shit trades to try and go all in. If it works your fanbase is happy for the next 10 years, if it fails you’re seen as an idiot
