  1. But this just solidifies more mediocrity for the future. Like the player and contract but that’s not what this team needs

  2. I don’t know why Canucks fans are saying this is a bad contract. This is a steal. This also means that Bo is almost guaranteed to be traded.

  3. Not an overpayment, glad term is only 2 years. League value is basically most wingers at 5-5.5mil. However, on this team with no cap and huge need on D and already overspent on two of those dmen. Again, hard to see where they're going but in a vacuum, this is good value and hopefully means they know someone is gone for trade.

  4. They will be moving Brock Boeser where, has to be decided. Then there is Meyers which would have to be a value trade some young defenceman.
Kuzmenko is 25,isnt that young enough.
Players that are fully developed are hard to come by.25 is the age Boeser was fully developed.
When will they look at his stats,a plus player like a plus seven

  5. Good contract and 5.5 is very tradeable if he can keep it up Petey will be happy. Trade JT if possible get a good return on BO . Trade Garland brock. Myers will be gone soon . Buy out OEL then the Mgnt can hopefully work some Magic.

  6. I like this signing for Vancouver. Low risk with the short term. The cap hit is not bad at all for a near point let game player.

  7. We need scoring no one's else can score goals Garland Boeser not doing it best sighed Kuzmenko fun to watch don't whined Boeser and Garland sucks patience Boeser will be moved before the Deadline and Garland als0 Kuzmenko is new is part of the retooled .our soon Horvat Boeser Pearson Garland Myers oel Benning core

  8. Kuzmenko is new to the retooled mikheyev Kuzmenko Dermott Joshua Lazer stillman Bear pederson Alvin's team Benning core Declined Myers oel poolman Pearson out soon

  9. We have to go for it now. Can't move Myers or OEL unless you're living in a fantasy world.

  10. Rutherford mentioned in that press conference that they didn't managed to open up some cap space and looks like they still don't want to. But I guess it's ok contract, so far this management did 2 good things, sign Kuzi and trade Hamonic for that 3rd.

  11. Definitely going to be some buyouts this summer if no trades before deadline. Demko, Petty, Huges, Kuz are definitely players to build around… Goalie, Defence, winger and centre. If Canucks can find a trade partner for Miller or not he’s a valuable, physical winger/centre to have. Find some good penalty killers with speed, physical, solid defence around Huges, this team can get better faster. My guess OEL, Garland, Myers’s will be bought out. Pearson on ITR, Boeser n Bo traded

  12. Happy for Petey.
Kuzmenko wanted to be here and has chemistry with Petterson. He is a proven player and goal scorer as opposed to a draft pick and a roll of the dice!

  13. I don't know enough about the Canucks situation to say what's good or bad really. On paper I've liked their top six…and kinda still do and thought the goaltending numbers would be better. Ntl what I see is moves being made….and I like this extension of Kuzmenko!

  14. As if they couldn't still trade him. The Drance influence. Right or wrong theyre not doing a rebuild(at this point) not sure why people are freaking out.

  15. Could have gotten so much younger with draft picks and younger prospects.

  16. Miller has the same amount of points as Larkin rn and he’s asking for over 8 mil. And this is supposed to be a bad year for him. His contract is not bad at all. 8; I was management I would trade OEL and Boeser for a bag of pucks and try and resign Horvat. I think you guys are just having a horrible year and could easily bounce back with a high end draft pick and some more depth. Oh and the defense needs a complete overhaul.

  17. he's stupid to sign with this toxic organization. He would look great with pittsburgh or tampa.

  18. Hell. Yes. They need to re-build still, but if we could grow and keep our own Panarin at the same time why not? Wish the years were closer to 3 or 4 tho

  19. 02:05 I really don't see how the Canucks could possibly trade Brock Boeser atm, especially with how cap-tight teams are. The only teams that could take him are not contending, so Boeser could only be moved as a pure cap dump, meaning that the Canucks would have to pay to get rid of him. At that point, they are probably better to keep him and let him play through his deal.

  20. This is a very, very good sign that they keep him at a value contract and if they do want to start a huge rebuild, he's tradable and we can get a lot of assets back

  21. Good signing. They do need to shed bad salaries still. Im sure its not a matter of not wanting to and more of a matter of the price for doing so is so high. They will likely have to bite the bullet, and im pretty sure vancouver fans are going to cry about it when it happens. It is going to be a painful process. Brace yourselves.
