Does anyone else feel like the central division as itās currently built is the worst itās been since realignment in 2013. You have two elite teams Dallas and Colorado. Minnesota who are solidly above average. The rest of the division after the Wild just seems pretty terrible imo. You have three teams definitely rebuilding Arizona, Chicago, and St Louis. The other two Nashville and Winnipeg donāt seem to have a clear plan. With all that said I wouldnāt be shocked at all if two things happen next year. The Stars set the franchise record in points (114 in 1999) due to how terrible our division is and the Pacific gets both Wild card spots.

Been a fun month for movies. I saw *Asteroid City* last week (great, imo), seeing *Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning* this afternoon and gonna do the Barbenheimer double feature next week.

Drove through Idaho last week and discovered the Idaho Spud Kings. New fave minor team name acquired.

I’m really looking forward to next season. Even though I’m worried about defensive zone coverage and the PK, our forward group looks amazing. I have a sense that Nill isn’t finished this off-season.

Honestly I fell like we have a real chance at the cup this coming season. If not this season then next season for sure after a few guys have got their feet wet in the NHL
I personally must say I enjoy watching the Wild quintupling down on their losing formula of only bringing in meatheads. Hereās what one of their local rags had to say regarding their newest 1st round draft pick:

And then of course bringing on Pat Maroon, the 2nd biggest do-nothing goon in the league after losing Reaves to Toronto. I guess they probably think they didnāt hurt enough of our players fast enough last postseason and are making moves to correct that mistake, lmfao

So evidently this investigation report for Canada’s 2018 World Juniors team is about to drop any time now and there were *several* notable names on that roster including Batherson, Kyrou, McLeod, and Cale Makar – as well as our recently-acquired youngster Sam Steel. Very hopeful he was not involved, but with how little we know at this point, it could be literally anyone that was on that team. Pretty sickening stuff and I can’t help but wonder what if anything the league will do in the way of punishment for the players involved
