Which modern day NHL family will leave behind a greater legacy when it’s all said and done?

When it’s all said and done, Hughes. Jack is a 100 point player, Quinn is already a near PPG Norris caliber defenseman, and Luke is considered one of the best prospects in the world and has the same incredible skating but better size than his brothers.

  2. Yung_Corneliois

I mean the Staals have set the bar pretty high

  3. BubbaSpanks

Of the Hughes stay healthy and play as long as the stalls they would be top dog

  4. tgraveline

Staals for now. Hughes could get there, but if the Thachuk family wins some cups that could change things.

I don’t think anyone’s catching the Gretzky bros combined point totals 🥶

  6. Beaversneverdie

The family with like 4 cups, probably.

  7. KoolDiscoDan

    Ovechkin.

Mama (Tatyana) Ovechkin is a 2 time Olympic Gold Medal winner.

    Ovie, I mean … C’mon.

Sergei, 4 years old and has already scored in an NHL All Star game with Crosby and Dad on the assists!

  8. Staals gonna be hard to beat. But Keith is a great bar to start from for Matt and Brady.

  9. Mitcheeeey

Jack and Quinn Hughes could be some of the best players of the current generation

Well only one of those families has actually Won anything so I guess I have to say the Staals.

Gotta wait and see on the other two

I think the rem, Tyler and Rhett pitick are much better. I predict when they all retire a total of 12 000 points from them. 4000 each.

Staal’s are impressive with 2 cups. Hughes’ all have superstar potential.

Something tells me the unique competitive spirit of the Tkachuk brothers and the HOF career of Keith could set them apart.

  13. Duckdiggitydog

I’d guess the family who’s won multiple cups?

Brett and Bobby Hull are both Hall of Famers. Both were close to being the best players on the ice during their times playing. Brett won 2 cups and Bobby won 1 cup. Both scoring champions. Both won the Hart Trophy and The Lady Bing. Is there a better father/son combo?

Staals for now but they are also nearing the end of their careers whereas the Tkachuks (minus Keith) and Hughes are just beginning so ask me in like 20 years when Luke retires and the answer will probably be different

  16. SomeJerkOddball

Well seeing as how Keith is already in the Hall and Matt and Brady seem to be on strong trajectories, I’ll say the Tkachuks.

  17. Goatvechkin

I need to know what the Tkachuk diet consists of. That family is a different breed.

  18. BakedBeans137

People are absolutely NOT ready for what Luke Hughes is going to do.

  19. Future_Gohst

The Staals look like different caveman evolutions.

  20. Longjumping-Limit827

Tkachuks no question what are ya

  21. InternationalTour303

keith tkachuk was so good.. 2 x 50 goal seasons 2x 40 goal seasons ( almost 3x) in an era where there wasnt any goals at all. i think people 40years and under does not really understand how good that was during the 90s

  22. thibsinhistimbs

Most of yall never saw Keith play and its a shame, Tkachuk family any day of the week

  23. Jonsa123

nobody will come close to the sutter family tho.

  24. moxieplum

The Tkachuk family is one of the most business-oriented families in hockey. They really understand the value of $$ (hell, their uncle is one of the biggest player agents in the sport), reputation, and they notoriously NEVER say no to a media opportunity. So in terms of setting themselves up to be a certified brand name in hockey, I would say them.

Matthew or Brady need to win a Cup to solidify this, though.
