  1. Gabe really knows his stuff 👍. Being a novice, I have no idea of these guys other then the smaller Swedish center that I’m not high on due to his size. The Wild need to bulk up down the middle, no small centers as previously discussed on your podcast. With the other players this is the first I’ve heard of them being associated and potentially being linked to the Wild, so it’s interesting to listen to Gabe. Middlestadt would be a great player to take in the later rounds as he has pedigree and really looked the part last season. Guerin is up to the task and I have complete confidence we’ll be dealing come draft night. If he sees a player he wants like Wallstedt, he’ll jump…it is a great night for hockey nuts..

  2. At 21 I’m hoping for guys like Honzek, Musty, Heidt, or But. I think Cristall, Sale, or Yager could also fall to them but it depends on how many defenseman get taken in the top 20 bc a lot of GMs will be interested in their high ceilings. Don’t see Moore falling, seems like everyone is in love with his skating he probably goes in the lower teens. Not high on Otto Stenberg whatsoever, he’s the terrible combination of being small and lacking in consistent production, using your first on him seems like a big mistake. Wild’s blue line is on the smaller side but they do already have a lot of good D prospects so I’m not too keen on the Wild using a first round pick on a defenseman in a draft this loaded with offensive talent. That being said, Simashev would be a solid pick to bulk up the blue line if one had to be taken.
