The Nashville Predators Schedule Could Make or Break the Next Few Seasons | NHL Podcast

The Nashville Predators’ schedule is out, and today on the Locked On Predators podcast we take a closer look at the upcoming season. For a team in transition, the opening week of the regular season affords little time to work out the kinks. We’ll tell you why young players like Cody Glass, Luke Evangelista, and Tommy Novak will need to come out of training camp ready to hit the ground running against teams like Tampa Bay, Boston, and Edmonton. We also take a closer look at the end of the season stretch and debate whether a late season push might be possible if the Predators are still in playoff contention. Finally, we share our top three games we are looking most forward to including the return of former Predators Matt Duchene and Mattias Ekholm.

  1. Great episode! Can you explain to me as an European how this schedule works out? How many games does a team play against a) division opponents b) same conference/different division opponents and c) different conference opponents? Is every team playing at least once against every other team?
