Great video and other than the Soviet Union vs the Montreal Canadians one New Years Eve a long time ago this was the best in decades. Mike favourite was the line with Matthews and Eichel as wingers and McDavid at center.

This was entertaining but it made the tournament completely illegitimate. People who aren't children want a world cup not a tournament with made up teams. It was fun for a one time thing but I'm hoping to never see it again

Oof strongly disagree for team north america. Hated that and team Europe. Made it feel less official more gimmicky. It also robbed us of getting to see McDavid and Crosby playing together.

I found it bush league, and it was a money grab to get the two stars to play together. And we still have yet to see Crosby and Mcdavid play together. I think ur overrating the hype that people had for this team.

Seeing McDavid and “McMatthews” (my silly nickname for him at the time) was special… but the highlight I remember more so than the Canadian team winning, was definitely that MacKinnon goal vs Lundqvist, the way he stick handled and toe dragged around the pokecheck was simply amazing… I’m gonna go look for it now, thx! 😉

Why is JT Miller being on the team funny? The dudes scored at 20+ goal pace evey year since and has averaged over a point per game the last 4 years… He's easily a top six forward on that team.

Team N-A and Team Europe were jokes. World Cup is supposed to be tournament for national teams. If NHL wants tournament for mix up teams, it can have it's playdate on All-star week. Of course we need international tournament for best players, but as long as owners of the teams and G.Bettman care only for their own purses, we don't get it.
