Top 20 All-Time Points per Game

Inclusion on the list requires a minimum of 500 career points.

Since it’s the off-season and I had time to kill, I started looking up all-time NHL records for fun. It’s crazy how Gretzky & Mario are so far ahead of everyone else.

Man I wish Orr didn’t have knees made out of glass

No great one? Messier? Coffee? Kurri? Colour me surprised!

  3. Cautious-Bad662

How many player haven’t won a cup in the top 10?

Imagine forsberg without all the injuries.

Man was a beast, and that’s coming from a red wings fan.

He made the best of the best look like fools (including my boy lidstrom).

And someone trolled hard a few weeks ago posting a thread about how Crosby is irrelevant and overrated. What an idiot.

  6. ubcthrowaway-01

To every Crosby and McDavid, there’s a severely underrated Malkin and Draisaitl

  7. Mike Bossy at 0.762 G/GP is fucking outrageous.

  8. No matter how much the NHL wants Auston Matthews to be fetch, it will never happen.

    🤣

Not long ago, on a reddit sub, I got shit for taking Bossy as one of my 5 starters.

Peter stastny that got picked 2nd to last in the all star draft?

  11. Hattrick_Swayze2

Pretty wild that Sid is still so high on this list. So consistent.

  12. Polski66

Malkin not considered top 100 is crazy to me

How about Marcel Dionne getting almost no love throughout his career because he played out west. Even when he went to NY he didn’t get much love. Dude was a points scoring machine

  14. JohnYCanuckEsq

The criminally underrated Kent Nilsson. I don’t know if he’s a legend in Sweden, but he oughta be.

  15. martintinnnn

    2 of the Top 3 are Montreal-born. ♥️

You could make syrup with all those maple leaves

  17. TrajanBeta

Orr the only defender on the list… amazing

  18. PsychoWarper

Gretzky and Lemieux both being at almost 2 ppg for their careers is insane but it’s expected for them.

Bobby Orr as a defensemen being Top 5 is actually nuts tho.

  19. theTallBoy

Imagine being the only Defenseman on this list….and playing 75% of your career without knees.

Orr is arguably the most important player in NHL history.

    I get it.

    But.

Without Orr, there isn’t the modern NHL.

  20. Friggin_Grease

Kent Nilsson is a sneakster in the top 10 there.

Somebody please correct me if I’m wrong – I’m relying on my old brain memory and it was awhile ago. But.

I THINK Mario was above the 2.00 pts/gp before he retired in 1997. In his return from 00-06, that’s what dropped his career numbers below that mark.

I was such a huge Mike Bossy fan back in the day. What a sniper.
