For everyone wondering wtf is going on, Gretz ran a fantasy camp (in Vegas I believe) each year for a while, where it was like 10k or something but you spent a week in Vegas with Gretz and some other pros or former pros he would have come in, form two teams, and do a bunch of skills stuff and play games while hanging out the whole week. You basically get treated as if you were an NHL pro, you get the entire experience with equipment staff and coaches and all that. Every year they’d pick an NHL teams jersey to use, this year was the Hawks jerseys. My hockey director (who lived in Vegas which is why I’m pretty sure thats where this took place) was a ref for the event this year IIRC, he has a photo up in his office of it in the stripes with Gretz in a hawks jersey and it’s just so nonsensical that it always makes me laugh to this day.
