It's really between him and Paul Coffey for the best defenseman to ever carry the puck up the ice to create opportunities opponents had no answer for. Coffey was a little faster, but Ozolinsh could dangle fools with only one hand on his stick.

Great player in the NHL and on NHL 2005 for PC! I traded him to the leafs and he really helped the defence.

if not for problems with alcohol, he would probably play for latvia until 50. even the nhl program for the treatment of alcoholism did not help him.
