as a bruins fan i don't think this is a bad thing sure he isn't the player he was when he was last here but the bruins in this years playoff got pushed around by the panthers especially the 4th line they needed more grit and that's exactly what lucic brings he isn't going to score the goals but he was be there to not let us get bullied when the playoffs come around. i also agree that nostalgia isn't going to win a cup and the bruins do need to start getting younger but they can do that and still bring lucic in and some of the younger guys might even learn a thing or two from lucic which can only help them

If Lucic isn't on the second line and not on the bad contract, it's not so bad. Once the Flames added a fast young guy Duehr on the fourth line, he was okay.

Lucic is a good heart and soul guy with Cup experience serving a good depth player for under 1M. I think that's great for Boston. If there's any prospect that they do need to finally give a chance is Lysell. Maybe he replaces Hall on the 2nd line.

Lucic on your 4th line is the least of your worries. Bergeron and Krejci retiring leaves massive holes in the lineup without cap space to fill it.
I used to love Looch when he was with the B's, but hes got nothing left. I would rather get young guys with upside at this point. Maybe he wants to retire a Bruins and this would be his last year, and Sweeney is willing to do it on the cheap. That's the only reason I could see taking him back.

More than a rumour. Heard directly from one of his teammates at world championships he’s either going to boston, florida, or Tampa. Realistically he does have a role in the NHL. Awful skater, but he’s still 4th line caliber.

The reason they want him back is to be a Foligno replacement at 1/4 the cost. Makes sense from a business perspective, but I would rather The Bruins actually call up young guys and develop them in the NHL
