  1. Devils are clearly getting desperate to improve quickly. This ten year rebuild is getting really old for the fan base and not many of us want to wait for the kids to be nhl ready in 3+ years

  2. bagels!!! hawks won't trade him unless they get a haul (an offer they can't refuse). that means panthers are losing a player like knight plus, the devils would be losing baby hughes plus, leafs don't have the haul to get bagel imo. a first round pick in the 20's is basically a 2nd rounder, i don't think that is going to do it. the hawks will have to get more of a certain thing, as opposed to a mid level prospect and an early 2nd to trade bagel, just my opinion i could be wrong. i mean they are the hawks after all. but in all honesty, the hawks will probably not move bagel, they know what they have in him. if anything they're trying to acquire more bagels, that's why they rolled the dice on lafferty. not to mention, kept giving bagel's cousin (and red deer teammate) r.johnson opportunities.

  3. I dont think the panthers are in on a forward, they played them last night and beat the crap out of him lol, cats want a physical mobile Dman

  4. Won't happen in a million years, but as a Hawks fan I'd take a straight swap of Luke Hughes for Hagel.. As much as I rate Hagel, a rookie Luke Hughes next season is an IMMEDIATE upgrade on Calvin de Haan on their first pairing next to Seth Jones.

  5. Trade Hegel? You have GOT to be shitting me! Anything less than a first rounder….;.wait, check that, no way, hes one of those players that aren't superstars but stay with one team their entire career because they just do everything well every night.
and the Hawks do this, the fan base will go insane.

  6. hagel is the hardest working player on the hawks for the second year now, does not make any sense to trade him going into a potential rebuild at the cheap price.

  7. Please, if Detroit gets a first and quality prospect for Havel, they should do that trade every day and twice on Sunday. NJ will never give that much up for a guy that is average. Never trade a top 10 pick for a middling prospect. Fitz is to smart for that.
