  1. If you like these stats PLEASE go check out Chace McCallum (@CMHockey66) on Twitter. Amazing work and worthy of a follow!

  2. Good morning, guys. I’m so pumped with this amazing information. Have a great day. 😊😂

  3. Personally taking these stats very lightly but yes, the league is changing. Size is becoming less of a factor with each passing year but it will never not matter, especially for defense.

  4. Draft picks have more chances of making the team and get shorter not because they are better.. they make the NHL because there are more teams than before and 15 years ago they wouldn't make the team. And by the way, shorter better scorers are Logan Cooley, Mitchkov and Zack Benson, which the Habs are NOT taking

  5. With all due respect to your graphs and stats, what's really important, and Hughes knows it, is the intelligence and desire the prospect has. Nothing is guaranteed; that's why we call them prospects.

  6. Josh and Jesse: Hard core HABS fans with logic and a positive twist on everything!

Great show guys. Love your analysis! 👍

  7. I doubt slaf will explode especially if he isn’t on the 2nd line but I’m sure he will prove he isn’t a bust to all the haters this season

  8. In 5 years every single critic of Hughes, Gorton, etc. will be eating their words. BIG time. Cups # 25, 26 and 27 coming in the next 12 years. 55 years of Hab worship. This is the most excited I've been since 1979. I have seen 10 Lord Stanley Mugs in Montréal. I have seen it. I am excited again. Go Habs Go.

  9. With all the respect celebrini isnt the best prospect in 2023 you should look at aaron kiviharju this guy is such a beauty

  10. Hughes knows all about player development. He was an agent. He probably knows which teams have great player development and teams that don't. He had players around the league

  11. Hughes is out if his league.Keeps getting fleeced in evey dum move he makes.Newhook the 0:02 Bust

  12. Unloading poor player’s contracts will help the rebuild. Filling the lineup with consistent hockey players with skill, competitiveness and a desire to prove they belong.

  13. I'm gonna start calling you two 'Cheech and Chong" this year clearly shows they are not going to take risks, or the best player available for that matter. Anyway you two are always entertaining that's for sure

  14. Here's a Stat – The Flyers have Michkov and we've got an over-rated Gm. You know it too because you changed your Hab Jersey to a Wild Jersey during the draft. Not only are the habs terrible, there also boring. Our D corp will not change that, but one super-stud Russian boy would.

  15. That's all great…except that we just gave up #31 and #37 to get Newhook. Thought it was an overpay at the time, even more convinced of it now. 😒

  16. Hey guys. Unless I missed something you haven't said anything yet about Drouin going to Colorado for 850k and zero return for the Habs. I'm convinced he'll score at least 60 points next year…and possibly outscore anyone on the Habs. As much of a disappointment as he often was, I hate to see such a skilled and potentially dominant player just let go like that.

  17. A team needs to adhere to these 2 rules when adding smaller players to their roster:
    1. Your small players should have above average skill (like a Caufield or Hutson)
    2. You should limit the number of small players on your team
