~~If Wright makes the team, we’re set. If not, they need 1 more depth F.~~
One thing to note here – the Kraken are being conservative with the money they are handing out, probably to make sure they have the $s needed to re-sign Dunn and Borgen since both are due raises.
His analytics aren’t too hot on first impression but at 1 year at near league minimum there isn’t much to complain about here.
**edit**: miscounted the roster spots again due to Kartye. With Burakovsky healthy, we have 12 signed NHL forwards with 2 spots left for some combination of Wright, Kartye, and Hayden.

Above 50% face off last 6 years including a 60% FO% a couple years ago. Great 4th line addition for that reason alone.

I was looking at 4th line options the other day and he stood out to me. Shame he isn’t a righty. Good signing.

Very good on the faceoff and pp/pk. Also a really great guy off the ice. Gonna miss him but very good move by the Kraken

Great guy for the room. Decent on draws. Gets heavy defensive usage and has a good rep for it even though fancy stats sometimes disagree.
I love me some Pebbles, though. As a Flyers fan originally, I’ve been a fan of his ever since he first came over. Great signing.

Wasn’t he a Kraken already?

Yes! I was hoping we could PEB. He’s a great dude who always seems to contribute.

Good depth signing and a great personality.

I discussed the Kraken’s remaining roster holes [in a previous comment here](https://www.reddit.com/r/SeattleKraken/comments/14p2j7y/johnston_the_erik_karlsson_trade_talks_have_gone/jqle9ry/). I’m guessing Bellemare will be a 13/14 spare F on this roster, but he could also be an alternative to Shane Wright at 4C. Assuming Hayden is an option again this season, the 3 question mark roster spots look like:
* 4C: Wright (?) / Hayden / Bellemare
* 13 F: Kartye / Yamamoto
* 14 F: Bellemare
