We're close to a full blown rebuild. Should have started two years ago
I was surprised by the Turnaround and win. Hunter Shepard breakaway stop seam to change momentum. I will say this team had a lot less talent than the 2009/2010 Cup Winners. Definitely well deserved. I would like to see some of these guys should get a shot in the Caps roster. My concern is the Cap jocking like last year or year before. I think Hunter Shepard should be given a shot (competition) for the backup spot. Let the two fight it out. This way we can see who is the best fit for the organization. Seattle signed Joey for backup.
Shepard is signed for 2 years. How come you keep talking like he’s on waivers? Free to grab. He’s either in Hershey or DC but he is with the Org. Why would we move Kuzy over Backy? I’d run, Strome-Kuz-McM-Dowd. At least Kuzy can Play. Backy, should retire. Oshie, should at least think about it too.
