[Mercogliano] Brennan Othmann mentioned that he’s working on an offseason plan with the NYR, but he’s considering spending time in NY to train with the NHL guys. Main focus is bulking up. “I’m excited for the summer. It’s a full summer I get to actually train now to be a pro hockey player.”

This kid gets it. Too bad we couldn’t say the same about some others…
He’s seizing the opportunity with everything he’s got. Good for him. Can’t wait to see him on the Garden ice.
You love to see it. The kid has the right mindset. He’s talented and with some time in Hartford to acclimate to the pro game (hopefully with a transition to RW), I fully expect to see him with the big club sometime this year.

Hope he tears it up in Hartford so he can be a call up option down the stretch. Definitely expect him to be in the top 9 for the 24/25 season, if he pans out those elc years will be massive for us.
