Hall is the last person I’d want grooming the future face of the franchise.
As a Blackhawks fan I'm happy about this, we get a winger to play with Bedard and he will be easily flipped in 2025 at the deadline, plus it helps Davidson get to the cap floor.
I LOVE THIS TRADE perfect trade for Davison and not giving up any picks too. It's good for the bruins they win this too cuz they get to potential d-man and they get relief on the salary-cap
Good trade for both teams. Hawks get a 60 point player for basically nothing. And the Bruins get desperately needed cap space, in order gto sign key pending UFAs, and they pay nothing to get rid of 6 million
The Bruins need to Fire Sweeney… Why would you give away one of your best players. They need to ether trade or Buy out Coyle. 5.5 million dollars a year is a lot of money for a fourth line center. Also now is the time to trade Debrusk, they could get at least 1 first round pick. At the end of next season he becomes an UFA.They are not going to be able to afford him when his contract is up at the end of next season. Especially if he comes out of the gate firing next season.
I like this deal very much for the Blackhawks–as you stated, Taylor Hall being a former #1 , he can help guide Bedard thru the changes and adapt to the NHL game, and he's still a very capable, productive player. For Boston, this is a salary dump situation to make cap space to resign Bertuzzi and have some flexibility. I'm hoping Hall can be a good influence on young Bedard.

torey krug going back to the bruins would be, been there and done that.there was a reason that the bruins did not aggressively try to resign krug. who knows what Grzelcyk is in boston. but i would not bring in another undersized defenseman. mcavoy and lindstrom are your elite defenseman.
Yes he will play with Bedard but boy oh boy Hall as spent the majority of his career as a bottom feeder
Say what you want about Hall… it's a great trade for BlackHawks and gives Bedard a solid winger to find success with. If they find another decent winger for that line….just watch….Hall will score 30+ goals and will be in the 60-80 point range this season

I like it as well and both Hall and Folgino bring experience and leadership. I'm interested in Folgino and the Hawks. I think Chicago will sign Folgino for some protection because the young Hawks are going to need it.
As long as it brings in Bertuzzi than I like it. I would prefer to try Mitchell. Let Mason Lorieri play. I think they still have enough decent D. Trade Carlo to bring in a Center.
how does chicago sign foligno to a contract for 4 million for a year when he had 10 goals and 26 points, while tyler toffoli had 34 goals and is making 4.25 million ? ( and jordan staal had 17 goals and he's making 3 million – and so many other examples )…what was chicago thinking ? i would have given foligno 2 million
