   Can we just call every team that is willing to make any offer at all, take the best one, dont care if that team is on his list or not, and then just sign Tarasenko before it's too late? He's clearly just gunna go to market either way so who cares where he plays one season.. even if he wanted to re sign here long term.. it just doesn't make sense to pay that much for a guy whos gunna play on your 2nd line

   DeBrincat's agent Jeff Jackson came out publicly because for whatever reason Bruce Garrioch has been trying to create his own narrative ever since DeBrincat came here.

   Every single time he posts an article he's the only one who refers to Alex wanting out, being ''a disgruntled winger'' or not liking DJ Smith to push his own agenda of making DeBrincat look bad instead of using factual information and keeping what's left of his journalistic integrity.

   Alex wants too much and obviously doesn't want to stay unless he's overpaid .Other teams dont want to pay him either . Heres a great player teams want and if they really wanted to pay him upwards of 9 mil a year for 6 to 8 years he would be gone by now . He had a down year .

    The Senator fans are getting upset because they are always waiting for something. For example, waiting for the team to get better so they can make the playoffs. Waiting for all the prospects to connect as a team. Waiting two Covid bubble years to go to a game again. Waiting 300-plus days for a new owner. Now waiting for a DeBrincat to be traded or signed. We could have taken Zadina off the waiver when The Red Wings put him there. Yeah, he hasn't lived up to the hype about him but he hasn't had the chance to develop on good lines. First overall draft pick at 6. It would have been free to take him. I sometimes wonder about the logical thinking of Dorion and the staff. I have been a fan since they became a new franchise so I know all about waiting.

    I am just fine with one more year of DeBrincat and then he walks. Sometimes players leave as UFAs. The teams don't always recycle every single asset. I think the Sens will need that money for Sanderson anyway. Hopefully they have a great season this year and we get to see that top six stay healthy, the D core stays healthy, and one of the goalies gets hot at the right time and the Sens make some noise.

    No Sens fan is down on DeBrincat. The average fan is simply tired of players that don't want to be here. I don't think anyone blames him for wanting to be elsewhere. They just want players that want to be Senators and don't have that type of drama attached to them. I totally get what Brent is saying.

    Anaheim is intriguing for a trade partner for Debrincat. I really hate how these over privileged spoiled brat players can dictate which teams they go to. Be thankful you're even playing in the NHL, crying about where you play is so weak and pathetic it turns fans off big time. I hope they address this at some point because it's massively unfair for Canadian teams… But that's what you get for voting for Trudeau the commie. Nobody wants to be in Canada, not even Canadians, lol. I hope PD plays him on the third line and he has another bad year drives down his price and term.

    Debrincat will still be worth a prospect and a first as a rental at the deadline. Let’s have him in the lineup until the trade deadline and use him to get into a playoff position and then flip him for futures.

    He basically had 30….. and he was -31. His stats were very inflated because of the PP, even then he missed so many empty cages it's crazy. They have to get value for him, if they let him walk for NOTHING, Pierre will have to learn a 3rd language.

    Let him walk if you have to and use the money for making the team stronger. Otherwise make him pay. No PP time and play him on the fourth line. They shouldn't give him PP time no matter what. Take care of your committed players first. Just get rid of him for whatever you can get. Dorion won't do that because his job is his main concern so he'll sink the team to make himself look good.

    No telling what that idiot will do next to make DeBrincat look like a good move. Trade Batherson is my first guess. Maybe Pinto or Chabot. Whatever he thinks will be best for his resume.

    Fire Dorion for god's sakes before he destroys the franchise.

    His agent set up that contract with Chicago so that this midget could get 9 million bucks. Chicago was smart enough to look around and find an idiot to take the 9 million dollar midget off their hands.     it was a dumb move to get Debrincat,, by Dorion, they get a little guy a shooter fed by Patrick Kane, who was probably only going to play one year, before needing to be moved. The worst giving up a number 7 first round pick who would have been probably a key part of the Sens on an introductory contract for at least 6 or 7 years building for the future. This year they have no picks in the 1st 2nd or 3rd rounds! Thats on Dorion, too many bad moves, Smith should stay and Dorion go,.
