As an Oilers fan, it still makes me upset that they did not pick Matthew and picked Jesse P. I live in Southern Ontario and saw Matthew play with the London Knights a number of times. Out of the top 6 he is the BEST. Overall for sure. Austin M is a complete stud but I think he’s a bit lazy a lot of the time. Matthew is that total grinder, pest and finesse player.
It's crazy how many of the top 10 picks in that draft are already on different teams. Only Matthews and Keller are still on the team that drafted them.
