Phil Kessel just DEVASTATED Leafs fans

Phil Kessel won his 3rd Stanley Cup as a member of the Vegas Golden Knights and he took a jab at Toronto Maple Leafs fans in the process.

  1. Nah. Every Leafs fan loved Kessel and is happy he’s won another Cup. It wasn’t his fault Burke didn’t know how to build a team around him.

  2. Not really. I feel it was more towards Steve Simmons and trust me, I think the majority of Leafs fans hate that idiot so the chirp is most welcoming.

  3. Hope he retires while he is at the top. Good to see him thrive after he left Toronto.

  4. Oho yes Kessel was great player for the Leafs but finally got a Stanley Cup, congratulations πŸ₯³ to U, bless U , for the Golden Knights, πŸ’›πŸ†πŸ’›πŸ™πŸ™πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ‘πŸ‘

  5. As a Leafs fan, I’m not that devastated. I really like Kessel and an happy he won. Though I wish he got a cup as a Leaf

  6. every time i see or think of Phil hoisting the cup for the 3rd time, i cant help but laugh. phil the thrill is a g

  7. How about Bruins fans? That’s not talked about as much, but the Bruins, team, media and fans, shit all over Kessel on his way out of Boston. And what they got in return for Kessel turned out to be not so much because they ended up dumping both Seguin & Hamilton early in their careers and getting little back in return. Meanwhile, since trading Kessel the B’s got one cup and Kessel has 3 and this year to top it off, the B’s lose in the first round and Kessel wins another cupβ€”mostly as a spectator, but at least he was spectating hockey while the B’s were playing golf.

  8. Click bait.. Was Phil even on this team… I missed him in the playoffs… Good for Phil. Leaf fans don't care about him, lets' be honest.

  9. He is what is typical of the leafs organization letting players go and they win stanly cups kessels not the first and not the last to do this lesfs upper management and owners dont want to win a cup so they give players that have tpotential perhaps marner or mathews are next he potential away

  10. Like the lanny mcdonald trade to calgary and he wins a stanly cup loved lanny as a leaf way to go harold ballard

  11. I love Kessel very entertaining and skilled player! and yes I’m a Leaf fan😊

  12. Not really everyone knows he was talking about Toronto media which is annoying asf and does actually suck.

  13. It doesn't matter who is on the Leafs, the team will never win another cup, i've lived in Toronto all of my 56 years and can see it year in year out, the city overhypes the players and expects too much of them, they build up average players into superstars (in their minds) which is why the team always implodes in the end. It's just never gonna happen again for the Leafs. The city is too hockey mad for their own good.

  14. He is a third line guy quit saying he won three cups Yeh sid the lid won those cups Phil just happened to be on the team

  15. YOURE HILARIOUS KESSEL YOURE DEVASTATING SEE YOUR FACE, πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

  16. They, the Toronto Maple leafs, were the toast of the town,in the 40s50sand60s,I always rooted for them, only if they were playing my beloved Blackhawks!Johnny Bower,Turk Broda,Mike Palmeteer,Felix Potvin, give me a break I was a Goaltender too!I think the People of Toronto, don’t know as much about hockey as people think!I will take a Winnepeg fan any day of the weeK!I still love the,Arenas,Saint Pats, and The Maple Leafs! Old,Old,Old ,6 Team guy!

  17. I just love how Phil still enjoys winning the cup despite not playing as much, it suits his character in a good way. He knows that he fought hard for the other cups.

  18. Didn't know he was still playing. I'm a 61 year old Leafs' fan who pretty much gave up with the firing of Pat Quinn. Hardly pay much attention anymore once the Leafs get bounced. The Leafs have a VERY LONG history of dumping guys who then go on to win Cups. I remember 50 goal man Dave Andreychuk winning one with Tampa. I THINK Justin Williams won one with LA. Go way, way, way back in prehistoric time and you'll find Frank Mahovlich(already had three Cups with the Leafs;asshole Imlach ran him out of his head and out of town),who won two more Cups with Montreal. Mike Walton did win one with the Leafs in 67,but Imlach hated him too. Walton won a second Cup with Boston in 72 and then tore up the rival WHA. And then there's Bernie Parent:cheapskate criminal Ballard wouldn't pay him what he was worth. Starred on both Flyers' teams that won it all. I could go on and on but won't. Kessel's story is an old and very familiar one to me.
