Shannon talking recent Bolts moves

The big takeaway here is thinks JBB has done a good job, team will still be in the playoffs. Everyone needs to chill. I still think ultimately we’re looking at a mid-level playoff team for next season but these moves are being made with an eye to the expanding cap allowing a relatively quick retool that’ll get them in contention for the twilight of Stammer and Heddy’s careers.

  1. I agree to an extent but with a normal team you have to form. Same goes for goodrow and everyone else. It takes about a year

I expect playoffs and then a very high ceiling the next

I would listen to anything that THG says. He knows what he’s talking about

I wouldn’t quite say we are in the twilight years of stamkos and hedman, we are close but can still get a solid 4-5 years out of them. Maybe more

As much of a disappointment as it is to lose another two fan-favorite Bolts, things are looking up, I feel. Our new 4th line six (likely Jeannot-Glendening-Archibald) brings in new speed and strong forechecking, our middle six can be depended upon for depth scoring, and our 1st line (Hagel-Pointer-Kuch, ideally) will hopefully be firing on all cylinders.

Feeling really good about where we are right now. I dunno whether or not we’re a Cup caliber team, but on paper, we’re more competitive than we were last season.

I wish we would have gotten bertuzzi. He’s the missing piece
