I guess the NY Rangers really started to want Quick when they faced him in the 2014 Stanley cup final.

Another former teammate of Patrick Kane’s. They played together on Team USA in the 2014 Sochi Olympics and then, again in the 2016 World Cup of hockey. Hopefully, this enhances our chances of re-signing Kane.
LETS FN GOOOOOO!!!!! Last season one of my biggest issues was watching games that Halak played. I couldn’t stand watching Halak in net knowing he is old and washed up. I am very happy and proud to have Jonathan Quick as a backup and I can definitely say I will look forward to the games that shesterkin gets to rest to see what quicky has left in the bag. LGR!!!!
Shesterkin doesn’t need mentoring but having Quick to back him up and play with I just feel like our goaltending went from a. B+ to an A

I’m honestly happy as a pig in ** right now. Watching Halak in net literally gave me anxiety attacks through the entirety of the games. I can’t go through that again. I will feel 10x more comfortable having Quick as a backup. Also maybe shesterkin can learn a trick or two from a veteran like Quick… you never know. I see this as a positive and I think shesterkin is going to be even better this season with the addition of quick. Also I have a feeling we will finish top 3 again in our division. LGR.
