Toronto decided they are going to injure the entire Eastern Conference this year before the postseason.

It feels like it’s going to be a constant jockeying for position with Carolina over the next few seasons. Rangers possibly too but their important players are all the wrong age and their time to peak has to be sooner rather than later. It’s a weird feeling going into the season expecting to be fighting for the division. All last year I felt every game was an uphill battle even while we were sitting comfortably. This year feels like we should be winning 2/3’s of our games. Hope the goalie and D hold up and we could be in for a special season.

Ordinarily I’d say something along the lines of just how damn annoying it is that Carolina got even better this off-season, but I’m sure they’re saying the same about us lol.
