  1. Patrick Kane is washed, he had 92 points last year (2021-22), yeah… WASHED! He had a rough year this year, didn't produce as much, and I remember the Toronto game, he wasn't very good. But he isn't washed. 33 and put up 92 points? Thats washed? Not to me.

  2. Who cares if he’s from Buffalo? Was he even a childhood fan of the team? I’m sure he wants to go to an established strong team and not just sign with whoever is going to pay the most or maybe even go back to Chicago and retire a Hawk.

  3. I think Kane should sign in a European league for his last year or two. the fact is he is washed up as an NHLer.

  4. Gallant didnt use kaner right. Him and breadman not enough time to gel. Hurricanes, Sabres ,islanders .

  5. Not a Sabres fan but id love to see him go home and help the Sabres push for a playoff spot. He would be a great Vet to have around those young guys.

  6. 1:10 — As a Sabres fan, it sounds nice on paper, but our biggest weakness is defensive play and he’s an ā€œall offense, no defenseā€ kind of guy. Not washed up or bad at all, but not what we need. I think he’d be a way better fit for a team with a good defense already in place. If Toews is still good enough to be a decent bottom 6 defensive center, I’d rather sign him than Kane, especially since he’s good at winning faceoffs and nobody on the Sabres’ roster is currently.

  7. Any team willing to give Kane a deal just under 7 mill is nuts and shouldn't make the playoffs, maybe a 1 or 2 year deal under 4, guess you haven't been watching hockey long

  8. Speaking as a Blackhawk fan, I would like to see the Sabres do well and make it to the Cup finals and win…. as long as it is against any other team but the Hawks.

  9. Sabres fans wanna resign dahlin and power and maybe a goalie.we love our players we don't want Kane. Women and cab drivers can deal with him.were finally building a real team and respecting culture and cap space

  10. I am from Buffalo and I don't want him and don't think the Sabres need him. As you mentioned they are stacked at the forward position with young guys chomping at the bit for a chance in the NHL.

I also don't want anyone on a young team that was ever assoicated with that toxic mess in Chicago.

  11. I'm an Oiler fan, But buffalo has been my #2 since hasek/satan/vanek/Briere: I would love to see this happen, get it done BUF!

  12. I’ve been saying this for a while, if there’s any team I want Kane to play with. It’s the young, talented buffalo sabers that need a superstar veteran leading them. And who better than hometown player Patrick Kane

  13. Kane has been a lingering question since the hip issues resulted in surgery, are the Sabers willing to wait for him to heal up?

  14. Buffalo is totally stacked, and have a potential star goalie, too. Kane? Icing on that cake.

  15. Buffalo fan here. Please no. I have had Kane in fantasy and watched him closely the last few years and his season was bad. I love our team I think we need keep going big and or young. He's a defensive liability we were not short on points last year.

  16. As an Isles fan, I think it’s clear by now that they’re not making the playoffs this season. They’re gonna roll with the same core and there’s just too much competition. At this point, I’m just thinking about who I’m gonna cheer for when the Isles are done. I got Buffalo right up there. The fans deserve it, the players deserve it, and we need to see playoff hockey in Buffalo. I wanna see Kaner on that team.

  17. If a dollar for every time I was told Buffalo was going to be good. I’ll believe it when I see it

  18. He is done. He had hip surgery. He will never have the speed he used to. And if he does play this year he won’t be ready until February
