Patrick Kane is washed, he had 92 points last year (2021-22), yeah… WASHED! He had a rough year this year, didn't produce as much, and I remember the Toronto game, he wasn't very good. But he isn't washed. 33 and put up 92 points? Thats washed? Not to me.
Who cares if heās from Buffalo? Was he even a childhood fan of the team? Iām sure he wants to go to an established strong team and not just sign with whoever is going to pay the most or maybe even go back to Chicago and retire a Hawk.
I hope that my Rangers re-sign him.

1:10 ā As a Sabres fan, it sounds nice on paper, but our biggest weakness is defensive play and heās an āall offense, no defenseā kind of guy. Not washed up or bad at all, but not what we need. I think heād be a way better fit for a team with a good defense already in place. If Toews is still good enough to be a decent bottom 6 defensive center, Iād rather sign him than Kane, especially since heās good at winning faceoffs and nobody on the Sabresā roster is currently.
Any team willing to give Kane a deal just under 7 mill is nuts and shouldn't make the playoffs, maybe a 1 or 2 year deal under 4, guess you haven't been watching hockey long

I am from Buffalo and I don't want him and don't think the Sabres need him. As you mentioned they are stacked at the forward position with young guys chomping at the bit for a chance in the NHL.
I also don't want anyone on a young team that was ever assoicated with that toxic mess in Chicago.

Buffalo fan here. Please no. I have had Kane in fantasy and watched him closely the last few years and his season was bad. I love our team I think we need keep going big and or young. He's a defensive liability we were not short on points last year.
As an Isles fan, I think itās clear by now that theyāre not making the playoffs this season. Theyāre gonna roll with the same core and thereās just too much competition. At this point, Iām just thinking about who Iām gonna cheer for when the Isles are done. I got Buffalo right up there. The fans deserve it, the players deserve it, and we need to see playoff hockey in Buffalo. I wanna see Kaner on that team.
