    Before OEL was put on IR he was not good. He pulled the team down. Meyers had one of his better seasons. Not great. #2-3 goalies choked under pressure. This team looked awful at times. Play the first period then just get thumped the rest of the way. Even if OEL was injured he should not have been playing. I think if he was on IR right away they might have challenged for a spot. I am pretty sure time of possession went to the other team most nights. As a bonus, it may have helped in Silovs development. I also think they were predictable.

    We don't underappreciate him, one of the reasons we wanted him traded is because of the haul we would have gotten had they actually f'ing done it. Also, where will he be in 3 or 4 years when we are supposed to be challenging for the Stanley Cup? His timeline doesn't fit. Even Pens fans believe that they would have made the playoffs if they had traded for Miller. And yes, I have also stated over and over that would mean we would need a 2nd line center. I just don't know.

    As for Pearson, did the doctors tell him not to do something, like pick up his kids and he did it? We don't know why his hand continues to be trouble, but a lot of people don't follow the Dr.'s advice.

    I had to get his jersey custom crested the season he signed. I loved his style and snarl so much I did it before the dreaded trade deadline.

    Miller is the kind of player every team needs in the playoffs… The Canucks need to keep him..! Now just add a few Canadian born players with size and grit throughout the lineup… This will not happen with a GM that should not be in the NHL… Allvin will continue to draft Swedish players. Not encouraging at all… Lekkeramaki will be useless to this already weak lineup, if he ever makes the NHL.

    i worry more if jt's team player attitude will turn off more players. he says he is working on getting along with petey. that doesn't make me feel a strong supporter of jt.
    will petey be anxious to resign here if his relationship with jp isn't strong enough to make him want to stay.?
    i don't know about trades but, one with nyr, we'ld want chydl or with carolina, kotkoneimi. another higher level, younger center.
