They seem to be working on the 4th line. This guy, JVR, Lucic. All well and good, but not where the need lies. Would have preferred to keep Bertuzzi, and filled out the 4th line with guys from Providence, but there are too many holes to fill. They really are fucked if Bergeron doesn't come back (assuming Krejci is gone). Your top center is now Zacha. The plan seems to be to keep both goalies to remain competitive. I see no path in the immediate future to a #1C or a #2C (assuming they don't trade anyone from the Pasta, McAvoy, Lindholm, whichever goalie, core. Or Lysell and Lohrei).

I think Sweeney envisions him as a 3c, with JVR slotting with Coyle on the second line.
