  1. Hill played great , but thats in front of a team that leads the league in blocked shots and who plays much harder than the Kings in front of the net. Im not sure he would be a good fit for LA, think it could be bad for both parties.

  2. If the kings defense play similar like begas by blocking shots and leave the Goalie out by themselves i would bring back Korpisalo

  3. 7 minutes into the video and these are my thoughts… someone will hugely overpay for Hill and he will be mediocre at best, someone like that Nevada team under pays for korpisalo who will bring them the cup

  4. If you can't make a trade for a Hellebuyck or Sarros then bringing back Korpisalo would be fine. A full season with him and Copley is good enough to get to the playoffs.

  5. I am guessing Yarry gets the call. He was coached by Buckley and really wants out of his town. He's also only 28 years old and his contract will be affordable i think.

  6. 9:30 into the video and more thoughts…Hill, Broissoit, Thompson, Lehner, all of them, suddenly became amazing goalies. Stick em on the kings in the playoffs against the Oilers and they'd all look like Korpisalo, if not worse.

  7. 16:01 in and the inevitable, Korpisalo bad, Hill good! for the Kings playoff chances.
    Laughable

  8. Any update on turcotte? Will we give him a shot next year to see what he can do, at least for the preseason?

  9. Korpisalo is better than 80% of goalies talked about, is a very good fit and is probably affordable. He was xlnt in the regular season and was ok in the playoffs, good early and not so good in the latter games. Kings D was awful vs. the Oilers espec on PK which was not his fault. Hill will cost quite a bit so Kings may mot be able to pay that much. My choices are Saros, Sorokin or Korpisalo.

  10. I have no ill-will towards Quick and Martinez for winning the Cup with VGK. They were key components of the 2012-2014 Cup teams and will forever be LA Kings.

  11. If I had to pick one from the eight or so that you mentioned it would be korpisalo.
Since money is an issue and age to a degree I would definitely stay with korpisalo.
He let in a couple of soft goals unfortunately in the playoffs but he made quite a few outstanding saves as well.
Hard to pin that loss on him.
I would however prefer a trade for Carter hart or hellibrok (?).
We have prospects to spare with the exception of Clarke I'd include any of the two they chose and a pick as well.
    Good show as usual.

  12. It's terrible to see Quickie and Marti win with VGK but that's hockey baby.. Blake needs to bring Korpi back for one year at 1M to 1.5M and Kings need to improve greatly on defense.. that's their major issue.. its not goalkeepers.. its how they play in front of them that needs fixing

  13. Well Eddie, The list of Goalies you ran through didn't excite me or anyone else I would guess. Looks like our options are goalies that haven't proved themselves long term or Goalies that cost 4 or 5 million dollars who are 35. It looks like we're going to be left with an "I hope" situation in net. If this is the case, mind as well go with Copley, and sign a cheaper 1B guy like Brosoit. Iny opinion Korpisolo didn't seem like he had the right fit for the Kings (just a gut feeling) I'm hoping Blake has something up his sleeve that we aren't privy to. Blake has seemed pretty smart when it comes to things like this. Not going to lie, a little scary not having a true number 1 right now. Congrats to the Knights, and now I hope a bunch of them leave for a bigger payday! Go Kings Go!

  14. Wow. That is a lot of really interesting goalie options! Way more than I realized. Thank you so much for the 4-1-1 , Eddie!!! 🖤🤍🖤🤍

  15. I think the majority of these UFAs will fetch too high of a price. Should just get a couple bargains and hope the team defense improves, ride the Copper wave until then.
Fun name that King this episode, i love that Iggy got to wear Kings colors. Im with you Eddie i was a big fan of Jerome well before his short stint. And that knock out he had was a highlight of that season.

  16. Vegas Doesn't rely a lot on their goaltender to win games. Vegas is big, strong, block a lot of shots and box out very good, and they don't allow much second third chances shots on goal. Plus if you look at Quick numbers after he joined the Knights they were better then with the Kings. Point I am making is The Kings are not built like Vegas Hill most likely won't be as good with the Kings as he was with Vegas.
