Either Marchand didn't deserve a penalty because Hedman legit interfered or Hedman didn't deserve a penalty because Marchand dove. Whatever side you decide to take, two penalties doesn't make sense and shows how moronic the officials are getting.

I wouldn't say the call is wrong but it doesn't look like embellishment. Hedmans stick looks like it just kind of (for lack of a better term) slew foots Marchand. Its pretty evident if watched in slow motion at 0:30 roughly
7.6 on that dive, he can do better. He needs to flop around more and pretend to be hurt longer for it to be a perfect 10. I’m disappointed in him, he has had so much practice on diving you would think he would have perfected it by now.
People need to know the difference between a flop and embellishment. A flop is when he pretends that there is contact when he didn't actually touch him, embellishment is where there was contact, but not enough to justify going down. Hedman interfered with marchand and marchand went down too easily.
I hate Marchand, but if you look closely from the correct angle, you can see he takes a pretty hard knee from Hedman to his leg and it spins him around. Hedman is like a foot taller and probably 50+ pounds heavier… He really didn't embellish this one.
