Yeah, it’s pretty common to not celebrate a meaningless goal. They were down 6-1 with like 7 mins left in the game. This goal had no bearing on the outcome. It’s what’s referred to as a “garbage time” goal

Real hockey players, their family members, in the stands don't get that excited about the game as non-hockey players do! I've played with former pros, I never attended a NHL game, only a few IHL games, only because they were in my hockey town. Like working at McDonalds all day and then returning later to eat there.
